A low pressure system moved in and stalled over our area where it dumped a ton of rain, too much for the sewers. Some roads are closed under several feet of water and at least one creek overflowed its banks. The area around Jefferson Elementary some flooding, which is highly unusual. There was flooding in some areas that had never flooded before. Flooding was heavy in some areas. The heavy rain set back the plans of Extreme Makeover Home Edition which was in Erie at the time. This from a forecast for light rain. I start near 38th and French and work my way down to 34th and go a bit along 35th. The link in the annotations leads to more video.
